Nothing! You pay a 10% deposit (min £2) to secure the booking. The provider deducts it from the final bill, so your total stays the same. For a £130 plumbing job, the deposit is £13 — and the plumber charges you £117.

Your recourse is with the provider directly — just like hiring anyone. But our reputation system means bad providers get blacklisted fast. We track every job and follow up for feedback.

The deposit is what keeps Beagle free to use. If we revealed providers first, people would just contact them directly. The deposit before reveal is how we stay in business and keep finding you great providers.

You pay nothing. We absorb the cost. Our success rate is above 85%, but if we can't match you, there's zero charge.

The deposit is non-refundable in standard cases — it covers the work of finding, vetting, and booking your provider. If a provider lets you down completely, we'll find you another one. We may refund at our sole discretion, in exceptional circumstances.

We cover the whole of the UK.

We're starting with tradespeople — plumbers, electricians, painters, decorators, handymen, and gardeners. But we're built to book anything: cleaners, hairdressers, personal trainers, accountants, restaurant tables, removals, wedding photographers. If there's someone to find and book, we'll do it.
