Terms of Service

1. About Beagle
Beagle is an AI booking agent operated by Rubytech LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). We connect customers (“you”) with local service professionals (“providers”) via WhatsApp. By using Beagle, you agree to these terms.
2. How It Works
- You message Beagle on WhatsApp describing what you need.
- We search for available local providers, compare quotes, and select the best fit.
- We present you with a confirmed quote. You pay nothing at this stage.
- The provider is revealed and the booking is confirmed.
- The job is completed. The provider charges you the quoted total minus our booking fee.
- After the job, we collect our 10% booking fee (minimum £2, maximum £50). Your total cost remains the same as originally quoted.
3. Booking Fee
- Our booking fee is 10% of the quoted total price (minimum £2, maximum £50).
- The fee is collected after the job is complete. You pay nothing upfront.
- The provider deducts the booking fee from what you owe them on the day of service. Your total cost remains the same as originally quoted.
- The booking fee covers the work of finding, comparing, and booking your provider. It is non-refundable once the job has been completed.
- If a provider fails to show or cancels, we will find you a replacement at no cost. No booking fee is charged for uncompleted jobs.
- Failure to pay the booking fee after a completed job will result in permanent removal from the Beagle network.
4. Our Role
Beagle is a booking agent, not the service provider. We facilitate introductions and bookings between you and independent professionals. We do not employ or control the providers.
- We track provider performance through post-job follow-ups, but we do not guarantee the outcome of any work.
- Any dispute about the quality of work is between you and the provider directly.
- We actively remove bad actors from both sides of our network. Providers who no-show, overcharge, or deliver poor work are permanently blacklisted. Customers who fail to pay the booking fee or behave abusively are also permanently removed.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the work you need, including location and access requirements.
- Be available (or arrange access) at the agreed time for the provider.
- Pay the provider the agreed amount (quoted total minus booking fee) on completion of the work.
- Pay the Beagle booking fee promptly after the job is complete.
- Treat providers with respect and courtesy.
6. Provider Details
Provider details are shared once the booking is confirmed. You agree not to use Beagle solely to obtain provider contact details without intending to proceed with a booking.
7. Cancellations
- Before provider is booked: You may cancel at no cost. No booking fee applies.
- After provider is booked, before the job: Contact us as early as possible. No booking fee is charged, but cancellation charges from the provider may apply.
- No-show by provider: We will find a replacement at no cost. No booking fee is charged for uncompleted jobs.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beagle's total liability is limited to the amount of the booking fee for the relevant booking. We are not liable for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of work performed by providers.
- Any damage to property or injury arising from provider services.
- Delays, cancellations, or unavailability of providers.
- Loss of data or service interruptions.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Beagle for any unlawful purpose.
- Abuse, harass, or threaten our team or providers.
- Attempt to manipulate or circumvent our booking or payment systems.
- Submit false or misleading booking requests.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms.
10. Your Data
What We Collect
We only store what is needed to facilitate your bookings:
- Your name, phone number, and location (provided by you during booking).
- Booking details: job description, quotes, provider interactions, dates, and amounts.
- Your trust score (a reliability rating based on your booking history).
- Conversation history (your WhatsApp messages with Beagle).
We do not build marketing profiles, track your behaviour outside of bookings, or share your data with third parties. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — payment records are held by Stripe under their own privacy policy.
Why We Process Your Data
We process your data on two lawful bases: contract performance (fulfilling the booking you requested) and legitimate interest (maintaining provider quality scores and preventing abuse). We do not rely on consent-based processing.
Your Rights
You have the right to access and delete your personal data at any time. Simply message Beagle on WhatsApp — no forms, no emails, no waiting.
- Access all your data: Message “What data do you have on me?” and we will immediately send you a complete summary of everything we hold: your account details, trust score, booking history, and full conversation history.
- Delete all your data: Message “Delete my data” and we will permanently erase all your personal data from our systems — your profile, booking history, trust score, and conversation history. This is handled immediately and is unconditional. If you message us again after deletion, you start fresh as a new customer.
What Happens After Deletion
- All personally identifiable data is permanently erased.
- Booking records are retained in anonymised form only (your name and phone number are replaced with “[REDACTED]”). This is necessary to maintain accurate provider quality scores that other customers depend on.
- Outstanding booking fees remain payable regardless of data deletion. Your Stripe payment link remains active — the right to erasure does not cancel financial obligations.
- Payment records held by Stripe are subject to Stripe's own data retention policy. We cannot delete data held by Stripe on your behalf — contact Stripe directly for those records.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued use of Beagle after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
